Description: Made as a semester long project in Matt Boch and Bennett Foddy’s Studio II class, Peregrine is a exploration based survival game where you guide small tribe across a vast steppe.
The game began with a more familiar top down perspective, which made it feel much more like an RTS than a game about exploration. Using a widescreen aspect ratio and pulled down camera angle gave the game a much greater sense of openness. It’s hard to resist the horizon with the world spreading out before you!
